In Cairo on Giza Street you visit Al Fost At Perfume Palace. These perfumes or essences are still made the same during the Ancient Egyptian Time Period. There are many different scents and you can purchase one of the many glass perfume bottles. Great customer service!
In Cairo, The Papyrus Institute they will give you a history of how the papyrus is prepared before painting plus they let you know the difference of a true papyrus painting versus the banana skin paintings. There are many excellent art work and they have the best prices in Egypt. Professional Staff members!
In Cairo you must visit Khan El Kalile. This place here has many souvenirs such as magic jinn lamps, Arabic swords, clothing, house decorations and etcetera. Many Turkish Coffee shops, smoke shops and food. A very happy atmosphere!
Things to remember there are always going to be many vendors trying to sell you something and it may be higher then the shops that I am writing about, so just La'a Shukran!

I have not made a decision which restaurants I would refer you to because the restaurants in Cairo are excellent. I love the fish the best and then all the different types of Egyptian Food. If you need to know what Egyptian food is like try your local Egyptian, Arabic or Middle Eastern Restaurants in your local city.

In Siwa, this little gift store is named "Al Pacino". This store has cute gifts, clothes from the Western Desert and Libya. The owner is quite charming and has a great sense of humor!
